Ways of use of netbooks and interactive whiteboard by mathematics teachers at the primary school

The diploma thesis deals with detailed look at the project Education 21 and so the teaching using new technologies, especially interactive whiteboards and netbooks, in Czech schools. The objective was observation of teaching mathematics, methods of using interactive whiteboards and netbooks in mathematics lessons at secondary schools participating project Education 21. Evaluation and conclusions are based on analyzes of lessons recorded in the academic year 2009/2010 and 2010/2011, which were investigated and further divided into shorter stories in case that interactive whiteboard or netbook was used in some way. I watched purpose and the way of use of interactive whiteboard or netbook in the episodes, then the material which this technology was used with the aid of and who worked with interactive whiteboard. Some episodes can serve as an example of "good" or interesting way of working with the IWB and NTB in mathematics lessons, or they can be an inspiration for other mathematics teachers but also teachers of other subjects. Use of the Interactive White Board in Literary education in the First Grade of Primary School

The aim of this diploma thesis is mapping options of the use of the interactive whiteboard in the introductory part of Literature lesson called the evocation, based on formulated findings of needs and interests of the prepubescent reader summarized in the theoretical part. The practical part consists in comparison of teaching with and without the use of the interactive whiteboard, while the lesson plans are conceived in E-U-R model. The undertaken research shows that work with the interactive whiteboard in Literary lessons increase pupils'motivation to predict, makes modelling of reading literacy methods easier, improve vizualization of problematic places in the text and offers unconventional effective way of sharing pupils'ideas and artefacts. The benefit of this work is finding effective ways of the use of the interactive whiteboard in Literature lessons especially in the evocation part of lesson.

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of using interactive technologies in the high school environment. The thesis discusses both didactic and technical topics and describes current trends and technological possibilities. The differences of several types of interactive technologies used in different types of schools are also described here. The work discusses the possibilities of obtaining educational materials for teaching professional subjects and foreign languages, as well as the creation of teaching materials. It describes the possibilities of interactive whiteboards and displays as well as other technologies enabling an interactive way of teaching. The thesis evaluates practical teaching experiences and represents the use of these technologies by teachers based on information obtained through online questionnaire from several schools of various types. In the final part of the thesis are summarized knowledge and experiences gained from implementation of teaching materials for interactive methods used in teaching.

Creation of Interactive Tools Suitable for Teaching Music Education

This diploma thesis is focused on the creation of interactive learning materials in music education lessons. It is divided into four chapters. Initially, it deals with selected music components that we can use in conjunction with an interactive whiteboard. The second chapter focuses on interactive whiteboards, their types and ways of working with them. Here is a description of selected interactive learning materials programs. The last chapter describes the creation of teaching materials in these programs.

Interactive Whiteboard in Inorganic Chemistry Teaching - Group 14 of the Periodic Table of Elements Secondary Education

1 Abstract The subject of this thesis was creating of teaching material for an interactive whiteboard using the SMART Notebook program. The material was created in form of interactive presentations designed to be used in chemistry lessons at secondary schools. The unifying theme of presentations was the 14th group of the periodic table of elements. The thesis also includes a description of the way the presentations were made and instructions for teachers how to work with them. It also introduces some advantages and disadvantages of working with the SMART Notebook software. Subject matters on inquiry based teaching/ learning in educational programme for Zoo Ohrada Hluboká nad Vltavou

The diploma thesis on the topic of Subject Matters for Inquiry Based Education of Biogeography in Educational Programmes for ZOO Ohrada in Hluboká nad Vltavou consists of two parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is formed by research of literature, in which the author of the thesis discusses literature which was used as a source of information for further processing. The diploma thesis also describes methods used in the theoretical part and for creation of own teaching materials. The author describes importance of extracurricular teaching in ZOO Ohrada Hluboká nad Vltavou and characterizes Inquiry Based Education. The practical part focuses on description and realization of the educational programme as such. Three subject matters of educational programme were made in total. Topics of the programmes are based on the concept of Educational programme in ZOO Ohrada in Hluboká nad Vltavou and characterize representatives of animal groups of snakes, birds and predators. Concept of all the programmes is the same. Each programme includes four parts presentation, practical activity of pupils, competition and working sheets for home.
Lesson Activity Toolkit in the Smart Notebook software for interactive board

Lesson Activity toolkit is a collection of mini applications (applets) in the Smart Notebook software. It serves for creating educational materials with the use of the interactive board. It is a flash application which can be loaded with an extra content. This Bachelor's thesis focuses on these applications - it will elaborate on how these activities are used in contemporary education, how to work with them and which modules are not present in the gallery and could expand it efficiently. It also examines the possibility of creating and translating these modules and their implementations into the SmartNotebook program interface.
